How do I find your oysters?
You can buy them at Clearwater Seafoods or pick them up directly from our farm.
How do I know if the oyster has been spoilt?
The oysters should be closed and smell fresh.
What species of oyster do you farm?
Crassostrea virginica, which is also called the Eastern Oyster or Atlantic Oyster. The species is native to North and South America.
How long do the oysters last before they go bad?
They can be eaten up to 90 days after harvesting. You can store them in the fridge with a cold wet towel on them.
What do your oysters taste like?
Equal parts salty and fatty. Their aftertaste is likened to fresh sea urchin or soft-ripened cheeses.
Who holds the record for world’s fastest oyster shucker?
The Canadian Patrick McMurray can shuck 39 oysters in a minute.
